Teachers

Teachers who are interested in participating in the program or nominating students to participate are encouraged to reach out to the RI Department of State. Each year, teachers serve as Teacher Liaisons, supporting the Rhode Island Civic Leadership Program and its Summit.

Rhode Island schools that are interested in learning more about the Rhode Island Civic Leadership Program, the Rhode Island Civic Leadership Summit, or the Department of State’s efforts around civic engagement can reach out to the Civic Education & Engagement Division at civics@sos.ri.gov

Students

Students who are interested in participating in the Rhode Island Civic Leadership Program are encouraged to reach out to a civics or history teacher, or school administrator, at their school.
